Privacy Policy
Joy Communications, LLC Last updated: June 2026
1. Overview
Joy Communications, LLC ("Joy Communications," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of everyone who visits joycomms.com (the "Site") or works with us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it's stored and shared, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you give us directly, typically through our contact form or by emailing us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization name, and any details you share about the services you're inquiring about.
Information collected automatically as you browse the Site, such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the Site. This is gathered through our hosting platform and any analytics or cookie tools described in Section 5.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers) through the Site.
3. How We Collect It
Most of what we collect comes from you directly: filling out our contact form, replying to an email, or reaching out about a speaking engagement or agency service. The rest is collected passively by the Site itself and by the tools that run on it, in the same way most professional websites operate.
4. Why We Collect This Information
We collect personal information for a simple reason: to respond to you. Specifically, we use it to:
-
Reply to inquiries about our services, including social media management, content production, public speaking engagements, and brand consulting
-
Provide ongoing support to current clients
-
Understand general Site traffic so we can keep the Site running well
-
Meet any legal or recordkeeping obligations that apply to our business
We do not use the information you submit through the contact form for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.
5. How We Store, Use, Share, and Disclose Your Information
Our Site is built and hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix stores the data submitted through our Site on our behalf and maintains its own security and privacy practices, which you can review at Wix's privacy policy. Information you send us is also accessible to Joy Communications team members who need it to respond to you or deliver services.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
-
With service providers who help us run the Site or our business (such as our hosting platform, email provider, or scheduling tools), and only to the extent needed for them to perform that service
-
If required by law, subpoena, or legal process
-
With your consent, or as needed to deliver a service you've engaged us for
6. Cookies and Other Tracking Tools
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including those built into the Wix platform, to keep the Site functioning properly, remember basic preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. These tools may collect information such as your browser type, general location, and which pages you viewed.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect how some parts of the Site display or function. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common standard exists for interpreting them.
7. Your Choices and How to Withdraw Consent
You're in control of the information you share with us. You can:
-
Decline to submit the contact form or any other information if you'd prefer not to share it
-
Ask us to tell you what information we have on file for you
-
Ask us to correct or delete that information
-
Withdraw any consent you've previously given, at any time
To do any of the above, just contact us and let us know. We'll honor your request as soon as we reasonably can, though we may need to retain certain records to meet legal, accounting, or active-contract obligations.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as it's needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Once it's no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we'll remove it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link out to third-party websites, including social media platforms. This policy doesn't cover those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the update.
12. Contact Us
